Patient Care Administrator - Registered Nurse (RN)
The VITAS RN patient care administrator oversees the clinical and financial operations of the multi-disciplinary staff and ensures care is provided to the ultimate satisfaction of patients and their families. Qualified candidates have four (4) years of management and two (2) years of home health experience, a current State of California registered nurse license and a BSN degree - a MSN is preferred.
Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor - Team Manager
The VITAS RN supervisor leads the patient-care team. As a supervisor, you'll manage, evaluate and coordinate the members of the interdisciplinary team to deliver quality end-of-life care to our patients and families. Qualified candidates have a current State of California registered nurse license and at least two (2) years of successful supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
Registered Nurse (RN)
The VITAS RN is responsible for initiating the appropriate intervention and support for our patients and families and provides a continuously appropriate, comprehensive and responsive plan of care. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse and a current State of California registered nurse license.
VITAS admissions nurses are our patients and families' first introduction to the quality end-of-life care that VITAS provides. The admissions nurse's primary responsibility is to present VITAS services and philosophy to patients and families in a manner that results in appropriate hospice admissions. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse and a current State of California registered nurse license.
Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN)
The VITAS LVN evaluates the needs of patients and families and provides direct skilled bedside nursing care to our patients according to the plan of care under the supervision of a registered nurse. To qualify for the position, candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience and a current State of California LPN license.
